  1. What is the difference between a scheduled reservation and a private reservation?

    A schedule reservation is a booking on regular, scheduled mountain connector shuttles departing Calgary Intl. and Banff / Canmore / Lake Louise 9 times a day in either direction at set times. A private or charter reservation is a booking for a sedan, van or bus at any time in a 24 hr period departing from Calgary, Kananaskis, Canmore, Banff or Lake Louise.

  2. How do I make a reservation with Sundog Mountain Connector?

    By clicking on the "Book Now" link under the heading scheduled reservations you can enter your arrival and departure dates, add the number of people in your party and chose scheduled bus departures to and from Calgary Intl. Airport, Canmore / Banff and Lake Louise. Finally you can enter credit details and book your Real Time reservation.

  3. What type of credit cards are accepted and when will my card be charged?

    Visa and Mastercard are accepted and will be charged at the time of booking. Cash will only be accepted for walk on clients at the Sundog Mountain Connector Tour Desk in the Calgary International Airport (located) within Meeting Area C, main Arrivals)

  4. Are prices quoted in Canadian Dollars or United States Dollars?

    Our prices are quoted in Canadian currency and do not include the Goods and Services Tax (5%)

  5. What is the GST?

    The Goods and Services Tax is a 5% Federal tax applied to all goods and services purchased in Canada.

  6. What if I need to confirm, change or cancel my reservation?

    Cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the date of travel. If a Round-Trip ticket has been purchased the return portion of travel is non-refundable after the first portion of travel has been used.

  7. How much time should I allow to collect baggage and get through Customs?

    Passengers coming from locations in the US or International should allow approximately 45 minutes between the time the aircraft will land and the Shuttle departure time. Passengers coming from within Canada should allow approximately 30 minutes between landing and shuttle departure.

  8. I'm arriving at the Calgary International Airport, where should I meet the shuttle?

    Please check-in at the Sundog Mountain Connector desk, it is located on the Main Arrivals Level. AREA "C" at International Arrivals.

  9. What will happen to my reservation if my flight is delayed/cancelled?

    Your reservation for the Sundog Mountain Connector is valid for any shuttle on the day of travel, subject to seat availability.

  10. How long will it take to get from the Airport to my destination in Canmore, Banff or Lake Louise?

    It will take up to one hour and twenty minutes to arrive in Canmore from the Airport. Two hours to get from the airport to your destination in Banff, and up to three hours to arrive in Lake Louise.

  11. How much luggage can I bring with me?

    Luggage restrictions are similar to the airlines, two pieces plus one carry-on per person.

    • Ski and snowboards must be in a bag and are NOT counted as carry on.

    • Bikes must be packaged in a box to prevent damage during transport and are NOT counted as carry on.

    • Additional charges of $15 per extra bag will apply.


  12. Is my pet allowed on the SunDog Mountain Connector?

    Due to the possibility of one of the passengers having allergies, the shuttle does not transport animals, however, law requires that working animals be allowed on the shuttle.

  13. I am scheduled for pick-up in Banff, will it be the same as the advertised pick-up time?

    The Sundog Mountain Connector asks all clients to be ready 10 minutes prior to all scheduled pick up times and to expect no more than a 15-minute wait past the scheduled pick up time.
