COVID-19 Information – Your safety, comfort and confidence remain our top priority.
SunDog is closely monitoring our healthcare system, government and travel partner messaging as our country responds to COVID-19. We are taking this situation very seriously. The most important measures travelers can take to prevent respiratory illnesses is to practice good hygiene and wear a mask if possible. As a company we are also doing our due diligence in this regard.
For those services that we continue to operate, we have doubled the frequency of our vehicle cleaning according to public health standards, we have made masks available and have the necessary supplies in stock to do so. We continue to reinforce personal hygiene messaging throughout our organization including signage encouraging hand-washing throughout the day. Seats have been removed from several of our vehicles and seating plans are in place to ensure adequate distancing. Masks are required at all times on all tours and transportation services.
Transportation services have been limited to 50% capacity, tours have been limited to 35% capacity and our Maligne Canyon Icewalks have been limited to maximum 10 people or less with mandatory 2 metre distancing at all times. Temperature checks will be taken upon entry to any transportation or tour service as well as a quick survey to ensure the safety of all guests.
Extra hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed inside our vehicles. If travellers have questions about travel protocol, we suggest they refer to the Public Health Agency of Canada’s website or contact the COVID-19 information line at 1-833-784-4397. For questions about the presumptive COVID-19 case in Alberta, we recommend contacting Alberta Health.
