Winter Planetarium and Telescopes
WINTER PLANETARIUM AND TELESCOPE EXPERIENCES
Temporarily Closed *** RE-OPENING FOR WINTER DEC 1, 2017 (weekends starting week of Dec 1, daily Dec 13 and thereafter***

Winter is prime stargazing season, when the Jasper Rockies boast pitch-black skies and frequent auroras.
See the rose-like structure of the Orion Nebula, a light-years-wide cloud of gas where new stars are being born.  Watch the massive Whirlpool Galaxy as it slowly ‘eats’ a nearby group of stars.  Enjoy all this and more at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge this season.  From your welcome in our planetarium dome theatre to the wonders of our telescope experience, you’ll be immersed in the world-exclusive sky culture of the Jasper Rockies, home to the world’s largest astronomy park.
