Pick up locations
We pick up from any accommodation in the Jasper townsite as well as some outlier accommodations. We pick up from the following outlier hotels: Jasper Park Lodge, Pine Bungalows, Tekarra Lodge, Alpine Village, Jasper House Bungalows, Beckers Chalets, Patricia Lake Bungalows, and Pyramid Lake Resort. We encourage guests, if possible, to meet at a central location like the VIA Station (Totem Pole) or the Jasper Adventure Centre. This expedites pickups for scheduled tours.

Sunwapta Resort, Wapiti Campground, Wabasso Campground, Whistlers Campground, Athabasca HI Hostel, Maligne Canyon HI Hostel, Miette Mountain Cabins, Overlander Lodge, Jasper East Gate Cabins and any accommodation in Hinton.

Will I get pictures of animals? (Winter Discovery)
Photos are usually taken from the inside the vehicle or on the ground at a safe distance from the animals.
Will I see animals on the Wildlife Discovery Tour? (Winter Discovery)
Jasper is the least inhabited of the large national parks, so chances are you will encounter animals. Keep in mind, Jasper National Park is not a zoo but a wild, protected area. The types of animals seen on the tour depends on the season, the time of day, and the weather. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
SnowS What to bring
Snowshoes are provided. Guests are required to wear warm winter gear. We suggest a winter jacket, snow pants, gloves, winter footwear and warm socks, and a toque or balaclava. In addition, snow goggles are great for sun glare and windier days. The Source for Sports can fit you with a winter jacket and pants. A light backpack is also a good idea to carry your camera, water, and snacks.
