Overview

This one-way journey along the spine of the Rockies will take you past sweeping glaciers, immense waterfalls and shimmering mountain lakes culminating at your final destination of Lake Louise or Banff. Your interpretive tour guide will share stories and explain more about the geographical and historical significance of the region as you travel the world famous Icefields Parkway. Sightseeing stops along this beautiful highway will include Athabasca Falls, the Weeping Wall, Bow Lake, and the Crowfoot Glacier.

Our knowledgeable tour guides live and play in Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper and particularly enjoy sharing their experiences and love of the area. Moreover, our small personalized group sizes, with limits of a maximum 26 people per vehicle will ensure this tour the highlight of your Rocky Mountain adventure! Picnic lunch and Glacier Adventure Combo included.

Highlights

Athabasca Falls

Get up close to one of Jasper’s most dramatic 23-metre waterfall. Flowing from the glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, the Athabasca River is the largest river system in Jasper.

Columbia Icefields

Upon arrival at the Columbia Icefields, you will have approximately 4 hours to take part in the Glacier Adventure tour onto the Athabasca Glacier and explore the Columbia Icefield Skywalk overlooking the Sunwapta Valley. Both attractions are included!

Lake Louise

Welcome one of the most famous lake views in the world! If this is your end stop, enjoy! If are continuing on to Banff, you will get 20 - 30 mins to enjoy the beautiful views and incredible glacier at this iconic destination.

One sandwich selection per person:

- Ham & Cheddar on Whole Wheat with butter and Dijon mayo.
- Roast Beef with Cheddar Cheese on Whole Wheat.
- Assorted Vegetables on a Ciabatta Bun  roasted red pepper spread, tomatoes, pickled eggplant, roasted zucchini, red peppers, pickled artichoke hearts.
- Sliced Chicken and Swiss on Whole Wheat with butter and dijon mayo.
- Tuna Salad on Whole Wheat  (made with onions- celery and mayo)
- Corned Beef and Swiss on Rye butter and regular mustard.
- Tossed Salad with Chicken (Gluten Free)  mixed greens, red pepper, shaved carrots, red peppers oil and vinegar dressing.

What if I need to get back to Jasper after the tour?

This is a one way tour, please book a hotel in Lake Louise or Banff as the quickest turn around departs the following day with the Brewster Express on the South Express:

Can Bring my pet?

We do not allow any pets on our service, however, we do allow registered service animals with proper documentation.

Can I bring my bike on the bus?

We are happy to accommodate bikes for a $30 fee.
All bikes must be in a bike box to ensure they arrive safely as we do not have a bike rack on any of the buses.

Lost Items

Sundog Tour Co is not responsible for lost or forgotten items.  Please be sure you take ALL your belongings with you. Any items left behind will be held for a maximum of 14 days.

What locations will we pick up from?

We pick up from any door or accommodation in the Jasper town site plus some outlier accommodations. Outlier hotels we will pick up from: Jasper Park Lodge, Pine Bungalows, Tekarra Lodge, Alpine Village, Jasper House Bungalows, Beckers Chalets, Patricia Lake Bungalows, Pyramid Lake Resort. Although we do encourage guests (if possible) to come to a central location like the VIA Station (Totem pole) or the Jasper Adventure Centre to meet for any Jasper scheduled tours as this expedites pickups.

What locations do we NOT pick up from?

Sunwapta Resort, Wapiti Campground, Wabasso Campground, Whistlers Campground, Athabasca HI Hostel, Maligne Canyon HI Hostel, Miette Mountain Cabins, Overlander Lodge, Jasper East Gate Cabins and any accommodation in Hinton.

What if I’m staying at Pyramid Lake Resort or Patricia Lake Bungalows?

We will conduct our pick ups in advance to expedite pickups. So please be ready 15 minutes before the posted pick up time. (Ex: Tour pick up time is 08:30, please be ready for 08:15)

What if I’m staying at Whistlers campground?

While we do not pick up from Whistlers Campground, we will pick up across the street at Jasper House Bungalows. Please arrive at Jasper House Bungalows 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. ie. 8:30am departure meet time 8:15am

What is the Cancellation Policy?

To cancel your booking with a full refund please contact us 24 hours prior to departure.
