Is lunch provided?
Lunch is not provided on this tour so please feel free to bring your lunch with you. You will also be given the opportunity to purchase a boxed lunch from The View Restaurant or The Waffleato at Maligne Lake.
What should I bring?
Camera!! You will want to take lots of pictures during this scenic tour and we recommend bringing a water bottle and some snacks.
Can I see spirit island from the shore?
Spirit Island is 22 km by boat from the lake shore so you are unable to see this picturesque island.
What locations will we pick up from?
We pick up from any accommodation in the Jasper townsite as well as some outlier accommodations. We pick up from the following outlier hotels: Jasper Park Lodge, Pine Bungalows, Alpine Village, Beckers Chalets, Patricia Lake Bungalows, and Pyramid Lake Lodge. We encourage guests, if possible, to meet at a central location like the VIA Station (Totem Pole) or the Jasper Adventure Centre. This expedites pickups for scheduled tours.
What locations do we NOT pick up from?
Sunwapta Resort, Wapiti Campground, Wabasso Campground, Athabasca HI Hostel, Maligne Canyon HI Hostel, Miette Mountain Cabins, Overlander Lodge, Jasper East Gate Cabins and any accommodations in Hinton.
What if I’m staying at Whistlers campground?
While we do not pick up from Whistlers Campground tent pad, glamping or RV lots locations, we will pick up at the Campground KIOSK. Please arrive at the kiosk 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. ie. 8:30am departure meet time 8:15am
Note this location is seasonal the campground is open from approximately May 7th - October 13th each year
