Overview
Your tour will begin with a drive to Patricia and Pyramid Lakes, one of the most stunning destinations in all of Jasper National Park, and an area that was untouched by the fire. Enjoy a short walk over a rustic footbridge to Pyramid Island to enjoy incredible views of the lake, while marveling at towering Pyramid Mountain.
From here we will continue through the town of Jasper to see and learn about the effects of the fire on our town and the ongoing recovery effort. We will continue our journey and visit areas of the park that were burned and are already showing signs of renewal. The regenerative effects of fire on old-growth forest and the abundant wildlife that continue to reside here is fascinating. To witness, first-hand, the resilience and adaptability of our animals, and the ecological rebirth of some of the most iconic landscapes in the Canadian Rockies is a rare and exceptional opportunity.
With visitation just recently beginning to return, the park is experiencing a tranquility that is unusual during the typically busy summer season. This is a rare opportunity to experience some of the most spectacular and awe-inspiring areas of Jasper and witness the dramatic and transformational effects of the recent wildfire.

FAQ
What Should I Wear
We’d recommend wearing outdoor, comfortable clothing and closed shoes. A windbreaker/waterproof layer is nice to have as the weather changes rapidly in the mountains.
What locations will we pick up from?
We pick up from any accommodation in the Jasper townsite as well as some outlier accommodations. We pick up from the following outlier hotels: Jasper Park Lodge, Pine Bungalows, Tekarra Lodge, Alpine Village, Jasper House Bungalows, Beckers Chalets, Patricia Lake Bungalows, and Pyramid Lake Resort. We encourage guests, if possible, to meet at a central location like the VIA Station (Totem Pole) or the Jasper Adventure Centre. This expedites pickups for scheduled tours.
What locations do we NOT pick up from?
Sunwapta Resort, Wapiti Campground, Wabasso Campground, Whistlers Campground, Athabasca HI Hostel, Maligne Canyon HI Hostel, Miette Mountain Cabins, Overlander Lodge, Jasper East Gate Cabins and any accommodation in Hinton.
