The tour runs from 2:30 to 5:30.
The Tour starts by meeting your guide at the Jasper Information Centre, Downtown Jasper.
All food is provided by locally owned restaurants that serve internationally inspired dishes.
We provide boots, ice cleats and helmets. Please be prepared for the mountain weather, it changes quickly and our winter tours run up to -25C (-17F). Wind chill can change the temperature dramatically and you will be outside for the majority of your tour.

The Icewalk Tour covers approximately 3.5 kms (2.1 miles) and is mostly downhill.
Pick-ups are available at all Jasper hotels and accomodations. Please note, there are no pick-ups at the Overlander Lodge, Pocohontas Cabins, Jasper Campgrounds, Jasper East or Hinton.
Jasper Foodie Tour
In the afternoon, make your way to the Jasper Visitor Information Center for your Downtown Foodie Tour, where you will discover Jasper through its culinary offerings. On this short 1.5 KM downtown guided walk, you will visit four local restaurants and taste four carefully handpicked dishes, each paired with an alcoholic beverage while listening to Jasper’s top tales along the way. What’s on the menu? Not telling….. It’s all part of the adventure!
Please meet: 2:30 PM at the information center, downtown Jasper, 500 Connaught Drive. Foodie Tour ends at 5:30 PM.
Maligne Canyon Icewalk
The Maligne Canyon Icewalk Tour is one of Jasper’s most popular and impressive winter adventures. Your Sundog tour guide will take you to the bottom of the Maligne Canyon – the deepest accessible canyon in Jasper National Park – where you will explore frozen waterfalls, ice caves, and incredible ice formations. You will learn about Jasper’s Maligne Valley, Karst topography, and the mystery of the “disappearing” Medicine Lake.
The Icewalk Tour covers approximately 3.5 kms (2.1 miles) and is mostly downhill. Participants are required to dress appropriately for the weather. Transportation is included and pick-ups are available from all Jasper accommodations. Please indicate your shoe size when booking as warm boots and ice cleats will be provided.
